Skiing in Pamporovo

The small skiing area comprises of 22 individual pistes served by 14 ski lifts. Most of the skiing here takes place on runs around the top of the mountain. With mostly green and blue runs, beginners and intermediates will gain the most benefit on the slopes here. The skiing area is linked to the village by a regular shuttle bus to take you back to your hotel. Beginners will benefit from the excellent ski school, and intermediates will find long sweeping runs up to 3kms. Advanced skiers will like ‘The Wall’ of monster moguls to tackle. When snow conditions are right, you can hire a ski guide to take you across the local off piste tracks.

Alike to the skiers, the riding terrain here will benefit beginners and intermediates the most. There is one half-pipe to turn tricks on, and nice long tree runs for intermediates to ski down.

The nightlife scene in Pamporovo is lively and cheap. With many bars and restaurants, there’s plenty to suit all tastes. There is even a 500ft giant TV tower and restaurant dominating the skyline sitting on the summit of the Snezhznka at 1926m.
