The Kitzbuhel ski pass encourages the accomplished skier to try the ski safari route which takes you on a stunning journey to Pass Thurn. Encompassing 170kms of pistes, the Kitzbuhel Ski Pass spans resorts Aurach, Jochburg, Kirchberg, Mittersill/Hollersbach Reith and medieval town Kitzbuhel.

Kitzbuhel acts as the base to access some of the world’s most exciting and varied terrain. The entire area is an intermediates paradise of blue and red runs. A tremendous €75 million has been splashed on upgrading the lift systems over the past 6 years, making this a top skiing destination for family and group skiing holidays.

The smaller satellite villages offer more affordable skiing holidays, with bargain accommodation and reasonably priced bars and restaurants. Kitzbuhel is lift-linked with Kirchberg and Jochberg, and bus-linked with the remainder of the pretty ski resorts. Remember to take your camera as the area has breathtaking views as you ski and look over the province of Salzburg. The area has seen recent investment into a chairlift link from Kirchberg over to the enormous Ski Welt skiing area, opening up even more endless miles of varied terrain.

The Hahnenkamm slope is famous for its Hahnenkamm Downhill, which is one of the most challenging downhill races on the World Cup ski circuit. Kitzbuhel becomes alive to celebrate with the big party usually falling on the last weekend of January.
