A good all-rounder resort, it’s ideal for both group ski holidays and family ski holidays. Groups are well looked after with the after-dark opportunities and there are many restaurants for families looking for a quieter time.

Skiing in Pas de la Casa

Pas de la Casa has the largest skiing area out of the Grandvalira area with 100km of pistes. Snow conditions have been brilliant over the past couple of years and all of the pisted area is well maintained and prepared for you daily. The Grandvalira is the biggest ski area in the Pyrenees linked to 5 other resorts and even into France. With 193km of down-hill slopes serviced by 64 newly installed efficient lifts, the massive ski area is known for minimal queuing time to get you back up the mountain.

Beginners will be delighted at the excellent ‘Piso,’ ‘Pessons,’ and ‘Abelletes’ green slopes to get to grips with turning on the snow. Intermediates will find ample reds and blues to keep them occupied; try the scenic ‘Pic Negre D’Envalira’ sitting at the highest point of Andorra at 2,822m. Advanced skiers can test their skills on off-piste runs ‘Llebre’ and ‘Avet’ on the Grandvalira ski area.

Snowboarding in Pas de la Casa

There is a lot to do if you’re a snowboarder riding around Pas de la Casa. It may not be extremely challenging terrain, but there is still have fun to be had. Fantastic freeride areas, plenty of runs and there is some great off-piste for experts to get excited about. The main snowboard park with a half-pipe is located in the traditional El Tarter.
