The French Alps tend to be where most Europeans head to for their ski and snowboard fix. It’s convenient to get too, but more than that, the French Alps offers superb skiing and some resorts are open during the summer months too. Ski property for sale in the French Alps lure overseas buyers from all corners of the world. Chamonix – is an upmarket resort and the property prices reflect this. Currently prices for a two bedroom apartment are available from under £825,000 with decent size internal floor space. The ski lift is just 300 metres from these properties and you can easily walk to a selection of shops, bars, restaurants and local amenities. A four bedroom chalet is available from £1,312,507 it’s large and ideal for families or groups of friends. There is a garage, a cellar and ski locker, the basement space can be used as a cinema room or games room or you could install your own spa.

Alpe d’Huez – will fit most budgets for affordable and excellent value ski apartments. This is an upcoming resort and one to consider investing in. One bedroom apartments are for sale from £287,933 and it’s a great way to start on the ski property ladder. There is access to a hammam, sauna and swimming pool.
