Courchevel in the French Alps to Lech in Austria and Zermatt in Switzerland these leading ski resorts are all located in Europe. Europe has a wide variety of exclusive ski resorts. Property in Switzerland, especially in Zermatt, is in high demand. Millionaires, royalty, and swanky skiers flock to these resorts for their vacations. To find the most exclusive ski resorts in Europe, look for world-class ski resorts, excellent chalets, and luxurious features. You could even see a famous face while you’re there!

Courchevel is a ski resort in France
Courchevel has long been the epitome of luxury skiing vacations in France. It is located at the far end of the Three Valleys ski area, but it is worlds apart from its neighbours Meribel and Val Thorens. You could dine in one of Courchevel’s seven Michelin-starred restaurants. You can always check out the best 10 ski resorts for snow sure slopes as well before deciding where to visit.

Meribel is a town in France
Meribel had attracted the wealthy and famous, including the Beckhams, the Middletons, and Emma Watson, who is said to have purchased a £1 million chalet when she turned 18 years old. During the 1960s, Brigitte Bardot was spotted in Meribel! Meribel is known for its picturesque chocolate box chalets and is located in the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area. It is a popular resort for celebrities because it is much more private than its neighbour, Courchevel, and many celebrities stay in secluded private chalets here.

Switzerland’s St Moritz
There are many lovely chocolate-box chalet resorts in Switzerland, but the two most exclusive alternatives are somewhat different. The incomparable St Moritz is the king of bling in the Graubunden region. The adventurous gentry eccentrics risk their lives here on the famous Cresta Toboggan Run, racing their horses on the frozen lake and then attempting a little skijoring (skiing dragged behind unbroken horses on the lake at speeds over 50kph). Skiing is enjoyable, but when combined with off-mountain events, it becomes an unforgettable destination. In February, visit Cresta and participate in the horse races.

Zermatt is a Swiss town
It was challenging to choose Switzerland’s second most exclusive resort, but we went with Zermatt since Klosters and St Moritz are both in Graubunden. Any other view on the planet cannot match the Matterhorn’s magnificence. Zermatt is a large town, but it retains its charm due to the lack of cars, with all train arrivals and all-electric traffic. The old Zermatt area has a lovely rustic feel to it, and the new location has worked hard to maintain the alpine look and elegance. This is a massive resort with many stunning mountain restaurants, all of which seem to face the Matterhorn.

Verbier is a Swiss town
Year after year, Verbier is known as the rich and famous playground, with many royals and celebrities choosing to purchase their private chalet. The resort, which is located in the Four Valleys, is unique, and the prices reflect this, with luxury accommodations and pricey après-ski! Its combination of world-class ski terrain and iconic après-ski and nightlife is what makes it such an attractive resort and an elite and elegant setting. The rich and famous, on the other hand, come here because they can go unnoticed. After all, there are so many people around.

The Austrian town of Lech
The Arlberg ski area, which includes the resort of St Anton, is Austria’s best ski area. This riotous extreme skier’s paradise is just around the corner from Lech’s lovely and refined resort, which is linked by a 15-minute bus ride. Here, skiing is done on extensive and immaculately groomed pistes that make any skier look like a pro. There are several traditional-style hotels in the area, as well as first-class restaurants. The beautiful people of Austria and Germany flock to this resort known for its snow record.
